Every 30 minutes, you can take the “Höllentalbahn” (Hell Valley Railway) to get from Hinterzarten to Freiburg by train. Every 60 minutes, you can get to the lake Schluchsee or to Villingen or Donaueschingen via Neustadt – and from there you can travel even further. With the numerous leisure buses und hiking buses, you can easily get to the most beautiful tourist attractions from Hinterzarten. Therefore, almost no limits are set to your curiosity.
